Brandsearch Pricing 2026: What Starter, Outscaler and Agency Actually Cost
The three Brandsearch plans in dollars and cents: what each tier includes, what a lookup really costs, how much annual billing saves, and where the upgrade stops paying for itself.
Brandsearch sells three plans and none of them is cheap: Starter is $63 a month, Outscaler $79 and Agency $149, before any discount. The pricing page is rendered client-side, so most coupon pages either guess these numbers or copy them from an old screenshot. The figures below come from the plan data the site itself serves, checked in October 2026, and they match what the checkout shows.
If you only want the discount, the code WINNING takes 20% off your first payment on any plan, monthly or yearly. The rest of this page is about whether the plan underneath that discount is priced correctly for what you actually do.
The three plans side by side
| Starter | Outscaler | Agency | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $63 | $79 | $149 |
| Annual | $568 | $712 | $1,432 |
| Effective monthly on annual | $47.33 | $59.33 | $119.33 |
| Annual saving vs monthly | 25% | 25% | 25% |
| Brand lookups | 15,000 / month | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Tracked brands | 5 | 50 | 100 |
| Seats | 1 | 2 | 5 |
| API / MCP calls | 5,000 | 10,000 | 10,000 |
Two details in that table matter more than the headline prices.
The jump from Starter to Outscaler is $16. For that you lose the lookup cap, get 45 more tracked brands, a second seat and double the API calls. If you track more than five competitors — and almost anyone doing ad research across a niche does — Starter is a trial-sized plan, not a working one.
The jump from Outscaler to Agency is $70 and buys 50 more tracked brands, three more seats and nothing else that changes day-to-day research. That is a seat-and-client-count upgrade, not a data upgrade.
What a lookup actually costs
Starter’s 15,000 lookups sound generous until you price them: $63 ÷ 15,000 = $0.0042 per lookup, less than half a cent. The number is fine. The problem is the shape of the cap — it is monthly and it does not roll over, so a quiet month wastes quota and a launch month runs out.
Outscaler removes that entirely. At $79 it is only 25% more than Starter, which means the moment your research rhythm is unpredictable, the unlimited plan is the cheaper one in practice even though it looks like the premium option.
What annual billing really does
Brandsearch prices annual at exactly 25% below twelve monthly payments:
- Starter: $63 × 12 = $756 → $568 (saves $188)
- Outscaler: $79 × 12 = $948 → $712 (saves $236)
- Agency: $149 × 12 = $1,788 → $1,432 (saves $356)
With the code applied to the first annual invoice, year one becomes $454.40 / $569.60 / $1,145.60. From year two you renew at the standard annual rate. If you are unsure whether the tool fits, pay monthly for the first cycle — the 25% you save by committing early is roughly what one wasted month costs.
Where the plan boundaries actually bite
Tracked brands is the real limit, not lookups. Five tracked brands on Starter covers one niche and no clients. Fifty on Outscaler covers an agency’s active roster. A hundred on Agency only matters if you are running competitive monitoring as a product, not as research.
Seats are fixed per tier. There is no per-seat add-on listed on the pricing page, so a three-person team on Outscaler has to either share a login (bad for audit trails, and against most terms) or move to Agency at $149. That $70 is really a per-head cost, not a feature cost.
Prices exclude VAT. If you are billed from the EU or UK, the checkout total will be higher than the plan price. Budget the gross figure, not the list price.
Which plan to buy
- Solo researcher, one niche, short project: Starter monthly. Fifteen thousand lookups is far more than a single person can read in a month, and the code brings the first invoice to $50.40.
- Solo researcher, ongoing: Outscaler. Unlimited lookups plus 50 tracked brands at $79 is the best value point in the lineup, and it is the tier most people should be on after the first month.
- Small agency, two or three clients: Outscaler until the second person needs their own login. Then Agency.
- In-house team tracking a category: Agency, but only if you genuinely use the 100 brand slots. Ten seats of nothing is worse than five seats of daily use.
The discount, precisely
The code is entered on the checkout screen and reduces the first payment by 20%, whether you choose monthly or yearly:
| Plan | First month | First year |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $63 → $50.40 | $568 → $454.40 |
| Outscaler | $79 → $63.20 | $712 → $569.60 |
| Agency | $149 → $119.20 | $1,432 → $1,145.60 |
It applies once, to the first charge. It is not a recurring 20% and it does not lower the renewal price. We entered it in the Brandsearch checkout in October 2026 and the total dropped by exactly 20%.
If you have not used the product at all yet, read the three-day trial breakdown before you pick a plan — $1 for 72 hours is a cheaper way to find out whether your niche is indexed than a month of Starter. And if you are weighing the tool against something else entirely, the alternatives comparison prices WinningHunter against Brandsearch tier by tier.
